Field Visit (8 June 2015)
Rock shelter, kerbed mound?, well?, walling. A jumble of larger boulders on a rock mound c.10m in diameter and 3m high right on the coast edge is the focus of four, possibly five structures.
1. On its NW face a natural rock shelter c. 2x1x1m;
2. On its south side a line of stones following the mound base which may be a kerb;
3. Ditto, an undrained low wet area c. 2m in diameter surrounded by stones which may be a well;
4. Ditto a straight line of stones, probably a boundary or enclosure wall connecting this mound with a rock face to the south. Less well defined is a small depression near the mound summit surrounded by boulders which may be the remains of a hut.
