Field Visit (May 1996 - June 1996)
Between the foot of Creagan an t-Salain and the railway line, amongst scrub woodland, is a massive stone built platfonn. The platfonn, which is dry-stone built. measures 6.0m long by 2.0m wide and stands 1.4m high. It has been constructed against the foot of a small rocky outcrop facing on to the railway, and is probably connected with the construction of the track-bed.
