Sbc Note

The large 19th century Selkirk Cauld formerly drove water to the mills at Ettrickhaugh. It was demolished in the 1960s under the insistence of the Tweed Commission. The western area formerly occupried by the cauld has since been backfilled and developed as the Burnmill Yard.
