Watching Brief (11 February 2013 - 31 July 2013)

NS 610 426 A watching brief was undertaken, 11 February – 31 July 2013, during ground-breaking works associated with the construction of new wind farm. A small section of medieval or post-medieval rig and furrow was identified in the NE corner, near the current farmhouse. More recent improvements in the form of a clearance cairn and ceramic field drains were also recorded.
