Aerial Photography (9 July 2015)
This fort is situated against the steep gully side on the N bank of the Eye Water and has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2015). Two narrow ditches, each measuring about 2m across and set 5m apart, extend northwards for about 35m from the gully edge terminating at what appears to be a west facing entrance. To the N of a gap about 7m across, the line of the outer ditch continues arcing around to the E towards a dry stone wall that marks the E side of the visible cropmarks. The visible ditches define an area of about 80m across.
