A Middle Bronze Age flanged axe (Kirkless group, found in 1884 at Fallaws (NO 512 408), which was formerly in the collection of John Sturrock, Monikie, is now in Dundee Museum (Accession no; 1964-20-2). It is 11cm long.

(Flanged axe of Findowrie type). Single find. Flanged axe, badly corroded, brown patina flaking off, loop missing. Length 113mm, butt 15mm, cutting edge 33mm, weight 210 gms. Dundee Museum (64.20.2).
