Field Visit (15 October 2008 - 16 October 2008)

A mill dam is depicted on the OS 1st edition 6 inch map surveyed in 1858. A mill lade runs from the dam around to the W through a small col below the cliff s to the W and drains into a stream leading down to Bedrule Farm. The dam is still visible but the body of water is now reduced to wet marshy ground.
