Activities

Field Visit (28 December 2014)

Except for the farmhouse (NT 12344 88123), nothing is now visible in an area of landscaped parkland associated with Fife College of this farmstead which stood 40m east of the house. As depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Fife 1856, Sheet 35), it comprised four ranges around a square yard, the range on the NW extending some 14m to the NE. The steading was still standing, albeit having been further developed, after the Second World War when it was shown on a later edition of the map (Fife and Kinross 1951, Sheet XXXIX.NW) revised in 1946.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 28 December 2014.
