Note (1980)

Spurness, Sanday HY c. 606 350 HY63NW 5

A 'small denuded cairn or mound', reported in vague terms somewhere here by RCAHMS may be one of several such effects produced at the intersections of ancient field boundaries, which are widespread on Spurness.

RCAHMS 1980

(RCAHMS 1946, ii, p. 41, No. 164; OR 363)
