Construction (1928)

NN17NW 68 from 12386 75770 to 12435 75710

In 1928 Sir Owen Williams replaced the 19th century suspension bridge (NN17NW 68) with a reinforced concrete structure supported by cylindrical concrete piers. In turn, the bridge was replaced by the present structure (NN17NW 22) in the 1960s.
