Archaeology Notes

NO51SW 24.04 51068 10457

Late 17th or early 18th century. Small single chamber, crowstepped lean-to type, rubble with large ashlar dressings and two rat courses, one below eaves, one just above. Small checked door with relieving arch to S. Corrugated roof replaces original. Stone nesting boxes. W gable badly cracked July 1978.
