Summary Record

Wullvers Hool was recorded by RCAHMS Threatened Buildings Survey in June 2014.

The house was built for Jessie Saxby, an author and the daughter of Laurence Edmonston who lived at Halligarth. Wullvers Hool commands a fine prospect over Baltasound Bay, Halligarth and Mrs Saxby's uncles house Buness. The simple 3 bay single storey cottage was built in the 1890's and appears on the 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey Map. The house has been extended to the southwest and northwest.
