Field Visit (15 September 2017)

This post box was painted gold by the Royal Mail and a plaque on the side of it records that this was done to celebrate Andy Murray's winning of a gold medal (Men's Tennis Singles) at the 2012 Olympics in London. The paintwork has since suffered from having some graffiti scratched into it.

Visited by HES Survey and Recording (JRS) 15 September 2017.
