Field Visit (26 April 2010)
At least four grass-grown nausts (HP62229 02049; 62237 02051; 62241 02052; 62244 02053) are situated next to one another just above the shingle beach and high tide mark on the S side of Sandwick Bay and about 25m NE of Veosgrind (HP60SW 52). Each has been cut back into the rising ground and exhibits traces of a boulder lining. The best preserved measures about 9m from NNE to SSW by 3m transversely and at least 1m in depth.
