Field Visit (24 April 2010 - 1 May 2010)

This quarry or test-pit, which is situated in rough peaty moorland 30m S of a tributary of the Burn of Brecksie, measures about 10m from NNE to SSW by only 1m transversely. It is probably associated with the large Chromate quarry (HP50SE 199) immediately NE of the burn.

Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 24 April -1 May 2010.
