Summary Record (19 March 2014)

Two metal detector finds

1. A substantial cast copper alloy weight of the steelyard type and of medieval form. Stamped with the authentication marks for London which is flnaked either side by three dots, presumably reflecting a unit weight.

2. A copper alloy annular brooch of medieval date, decorated with engraving on the front face.

Claimed as Treasure Trove case TT.205/09 and allocated to Historylinks Museum, Dornoch.
