Measured Survey (29 October 2013 - 30 October 2013)
A measured survey of Croftroy cruck-framed byre was undertaken in October 2013 by RCAHMS (Ian Parker (RCAHMS, Measured Survey Projects Manager), Adam Welfare (RCAHMS, Archaeology Projects Manager), Alison McCaig (RCAHMS Survey & Illustration (HLA funded IfA bursary)) and Alison Clarke (HLF Skills for the Future trainee)). A plane table survey was undertaken to produce a 1:50 plan and 1:20 section of the cruck framed byre and a 1:250 site plan.
