Three stones situated in the wood near to Carse Gray mansion house. They are said to be Druidical remains.
Name Book 1861.
These three large boulders are situated close together in a small triangle, being 3.6m apart. The largest boulder lies to the NE and measures 1.5m x 1.2m x 1.0m. That to the NW is 1.2m x 1.0m x 0.5m. The third is recumbent and thickly overgrown with vegetation.

The westernmost of the three surviving stones of the is probable 'four-poster' was knocked down by a wind-thrown tree early in 1993. The stone was re-erected by the estate under the supervision of the area Inspector and warden. Investigation of the socket prior to re-erection revealed white quartz fragments and pebbles.

Three stones remain of what has probably been a four-poster stone circle standing in coniferous woodland on the crest of the ridge at Carse Grey. Only two stones are still upright.
