A short cist, containing an inhumation accompanied by fragments of a food vessel was found in a sandy knoll at this spot on 12th March 1952.

No information was found regarding this cist but its approximate find spot was indicated by a local inhabitant; this agreed closely with Wainwright's position.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
