(NO 4003 2985 - NO 4074 3055) Course of Town Wall, built 1591-2, renovated and extended in 1650, delineated on OS 25"map (For subsidiary parts etc, see NO43SW 2, NO43SW 7, NO43SW 23, NO43SW 31, NO43SW 55, NO43SW 58 and NO33SE 43.) It appears to have been of dry-stone construction, 12' - 14' high and of considerable thickness. There are no remains.
