Field Visit (2011)

NH 55548 60574 A fragment of a double embanked linear feature runs W–E at Uplands. The feature is 7m wide and the embankments, which are up to 0.5m high, consist of stone under laid turf. The N-facing embankment is preserved as a field boundary. The feature is truncated by a modern road junction at Uplands Farm.
