(NO 4164 3978) Tealing Stones (NR)

OS 6" map, (1971)

"Tealing Stones": Two stones situated 4.5m apart and placed as if they formed part of a circle, the eastern part of which may have been removed while making the old road from Balgray. The southern stone measures 1.6m in height x 1.4m x 0.8m. The other is 1.0m high x 1.4m x 0.7m. Neither bears any sign of cup marks.

As described. The name "Tealing Stones" is still known locally.
