Activities

Project (March 2013 - September 2013)

A project to characterise the quantity and quality of the Scottish resource of known surviving remains of the First World War. Carried out in partnership between Historic Scotland and RCAHMS.

Note (30 October 2013)

To the west and uphill from Pitcalnie are the remains of the targets for a firing range. the range was built for the military camp at Nigg and Pitcalnie during the First World War and it may have been used by territorials after the war.
