The Fauldhouse drill hall is marked on the 3rd epoch map (surveyed 1914). Osborne (2006) notes a 1908 datestone. The front building is a smaller version of the hall in Bathgate. The right half of the building has, on the ground floor, a door with bay to right, both covered by a shallow porch; above, a double window and forming the second floor a hall-dormer. The left half of the facade has two windows on the ground floor, and elaborate triple Venetian window on the first floor, and a single window in the second-floor gable. Hall behind.
The building seems to have been absorbed by its neighbour, the Miners' Institute. The indoor firing range is a low, single-storey building along the south side of the hall, now in commercial use.
In 1914 the hall was base for "F" Company, 10th [Cyclist] Battalion, Royal Scots.
