Excavation (November 2010)
NH 54675 55443 An evaluation was undertaken in November 2010 for a development of a new school with associated access and services within the existing grounds of Conon Bridge School. The work revealed a number of archaeological features, including a group of pits. Excavations in January 2011 revealed a number of other features including a possible hearth and postholes and a possible corn-drying kiln, though many of the features had been truncated by 19th-century ploughing. Post-excavation dating returned a variety of dates ranging from the Neolithic to the post-medieval for the features.
