World War One Audit of Surviving Remains (21 June 2013)

The Wellington Street drill hall appears on the 2nd edition (1903) and 3rd edition (1924) OS 1:2500 maps. The two-storey front block survives: it has a blocked door with initials VA (Volunteer Artillery) over the lintol. The hall behind has been demolished. In 1914 the hall was the base for No. 4 Company North Scottish Royal Garrison Artillery.

Information from HS/RCAHMS World War One Audit Project (GJB) 21 June 2013.
