Activities

Watching Brief (12 January 2012)

An archaeological watching brief on the topsoil strip of a development footprint for a new house within Airhouse Farm, Oxton, The Scottish Borders. The development footprint included a house plot measuring 19m by 15m, a turning area measuring 7m by 7m and a driveway measuring 30m by 3m. Soil samples from five areas within the footprint were taken and sieved with a view to recovering unstratified finds.
