Note : Vertical aerial photograph shows four possible cleared landing places at Quindry in Widewall Bay on South Ronaldsay. This is opposite the herring fishery of Herston and could date from the 18th century. These are at NGR 342750E 992500N, NGR 342850E 992450N, NGR 342900E 992350N and NGR 342900E 992200N.
