Dovecot - At the home farm of Largo House is an oblong 17th century dovecot, measuring externally 25 3/4 by 16 1/3ft, with crow-stepped flanks, built of rubble and harled.

RCAHMS 1933.

NO 4182 0357. The dovecot now roofless, is as described by RCAHMS.

Visited by OS (EGC), 16 October 1962.

Site Management (26 November 1997)

Lectern-type doocot at the west approach to Largo Home Farm, built in whin and boulder rubble with ashlar dressings and formerly harled. The doocot features a central door, crowstepped gables and a rat course stepped up the sides. It retains its stone nesting boxes, though the roof is now lost. (Historic Scotland)

At the home farm of Largo House is an oblong 17th-century dovecot, measuring externally 25 ¾ by 16 1/3 feet, with crow-stepped flanks, built of rubble and harled. The entrance faces south, and there is one string-course.
