A township comprising two unroofed buildings, sixteen roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a Saw Mill and another as a School, and seven enclosures, one of which is incomplete, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire, 1869, sheet xci). Fourteen roofed buildings and five enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
