Activities

Field Visit (18 August 2012)

A survey undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group in 1999 for Renewable Energy Systems Ltd in advance of a wind farm development identified a possible cairn on the summit of Ark Hill (2000, Appendix 10, No.6). If there ever was a cairn here then it has been almost entirely removed, the low rise on the summit exhibiting outcropping on its W side and almost no loose stone.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 18 August 2012.
