View of the refurbished and re-located cast-iron Grahamston Gate (NS87912 82351). This formerly stood at the entrance to the Grahamston Iron Company, Gowan Avenue, Falkirk (NS88SE 75) after it was shown at the 1886 Edinburgh International Exhibition. The arch was refurbished and re-erected by Carron Pheonix in 2002.

Build (1886)

Manufactured for the 1886 Edinburgh Internationl Exhibition by the Grahamston iron Company of Falkirk.

Former Location (1887 - 2002)

Originally standing in Gowan Avenue, Falkirk from 1887-2002 (NS88SE 75), the gate was relocated and re-furbished by Carron Phoenix, Larbert in 2002.

The Grahamston Gate was made by the Grahamston Iron Company for the 1886 Edinburgh International Exhibition. It was subsequently located outside the entrance to the Grahamston Ironworks in Gowan Avenue in Falkirk from 1887-2002. It was re-furbished and re-erected in its present location by Carron Phoenix in 2002.
