Activities

Field Visit (10 September 1997 - 10 September 1997)

Some 120m S of the Falls of Glomach in an area prone to flooding are the probable remains of a collapsed round-ended drystone building c4m by c2m over walls c0.6m wide and up to c0.3m high, aligned E/W. Even less well-defined 'structures' lie nearby.

During the site visit this was interpreted as the remains of a shieling hut.
