Activities

Field Visit (3 April 1997 - 3 April 1997)

An area of rig or feanagan cultivation can be seen sloping down from a terrace at 8mOD (the raised beach) towards the river Shiel. The rigs are aligned N/S and NW/SE and are presumably a remnant of the former arable ground of the Invershiel township.
