This dyke can be traced, as an alignment of boulders, for some 300m up the hillside. There are suggestions here and there of other dykes meeting it at right angles but these cannot be properly seen under the peat. At HY 5635 3982 the construction is of massive boulders propped together face-to-face.
Elsewhere it is of the distinctive construction using two parallel lines of orthostatic slabs and at HY 5638 3979 there is a clearly visible length of this kind of construction with a transverse slab giving the 'cist-like' effect.
