Aerial Photographic Interpretation (15 February 2012)
Two rectangular unroofed buildings, orientated NNE-SSW, are located 5m inland from the beach of Howe and 10m N of the Howe farm slipway. The buildings are depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Orkney and Shetland (Orkney) 1882, sheet cxx). The slipway is 30m in length and orientated ENE-WSW. Around the farm there are numerous grass covered footings of buildings and structures identified from 25cm orhtorectified air photographs (2008 series).
