Note (November 2011)
This former NBR goods shed on the Burnbrae spur of the Milngavie Branch, does not appear on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6-inch map (Stirlingshire, 1863, sheet XXXII.NW) but does appear on the the Ordnance Survey 2nd edition 6-inch map (Stirlingshire, 1899, sheet XXXII.NW). This goods shed appears to have been used as a test shed/ hangar for the Bennie Railplane (NS57SE 101.0), the original gantry, power system and associated structure of which has been dismantled. The railplane appears to have been permanantly suspended from the overhead rail. This building survives as a timber yard office.
