This dovecot is in a rather dilapidated condition. The building appears to date back to the 17th century (Mrs Gordon, Clarriston).

Visited by OS (RDL) 18 October 1962.

Site Management (25 October 2007)

Double chamber, rectangular plan (with shallow concave N elevation) crowstepped lectern dovecot. Random rubble with sandstone quoins, stepped rat course/alighting ledge, beak skewputt and half moon finial to NW corner. Door at centre S. (Historic Scotland)
