Activities

Orkney Smr Note (July 1986)

Immediately W of Veantro is a naust-toft, 2m wide and 4m

long, cut into the banks facing a clear stony foreshore. Some

flat stones here appear to have been deliberately placed and may

be remains of a constructed slipway. The batsto is a gap in the

rocks near low-water mark. This naust is at present in use for a

dinghy.

Information from Orkney SMR (RGL) Jul 86.
