A farmstead comprising a single roofed long building within a sub-rectangular enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1881, sheet lxxvi), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).
Kenny Grant's Croft is located in rough pasture at the Heights of Keppoch, approx 320m NW of Tigh na Otraich. It is sited at c230m OD on a S facing slope. The site consists of the much degraded remains of a byre-dwelling aligned E-W, together with a midden pit and stone and turf walled enclosure.
A plan of the site was drawn by the Workers' Educational Association following a field survey training session by the Scotland's Rural Past project.
