Field Visit (2010)
This is a small station, forming a later addition to the scheme. There is a requirement to provide a minimum level of compensation flow to the River Errochty, and this is done by over-ground pipeway from Errochty Dam. Prior to the water exiting into the river and flowing along its original course it passes through a single turbine in this small station which generates power from this compensation flow. This is a very small later station which is used to generate power on the required compensation flow to the river Errochty. The station is of a relatively late date and is of broadly standard design.
