Watching Brief (8 December 2009 - 9 December 2009)
NS 59150 68460 A watching brief was carried out 8–9 December 2009 during the excavation of ten trenches and two boreholes. The excavations revealed a pottery kiln, a paved surface, modern brick structures and some possible concrete foundations.

Archaeological Evaluation (25 March 2010 - 31 March 2010)
NS 59150 68460 An evaluation was carried out 25–31 March 2010 on a proposed development site at Mansion Street. The evaluation of seven trial trenches across the site revealed the brick bases of four kilns, brick wall foundations and ash and debris layers from the Saracen/Possil Pottery, which once stood on this site.
