Field Visit (2008 - 2008)

Field visit and photograph.

The low remains of a rectangular dry stone building, measuring 9.2m x 5.8m, are situated on a small hill on the S side of the A848. A tree is growing out of the ruins. There is an open aspect to the W, looking across to Camas nan Geall on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Several flints have been found in the field around the building: most of them are flakes, but some are worked.

Information from Hylda Marsh, SRP Baliscate, July 2011.
