Field Visit (7 October 1970)
The standing stone is as described. To the east of it, there is another standing stone, a slab of conglomerate, 1.4m high x 0.8m wide x 0.3m thick, set into and predating a wall. Revised at 25". Visited by OS (RD) 7 October 1970
Field Visit (4 February 1985)
Situated on the leading edge of a SE-facing terrace on the S-face of the ridge known as Drumderrach, there is a gritty, conglomerate slab which stands to a height of 1.4m and measures 1.4m in breadth and 0.4m in thickness; it is aligned NNE-SSW. The stone lies 12m W of the field boundary where a small upright boulder has been incorporated into the dyke; this boulder may or may not have been part of an original setting of five boulders (including four in a square) which Panton recorded.
Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 4 February 1985.
