Note (9 August 2023)

The location (N57 55.00 W3 55.00) cited by Whittaker is incorrect. The Buccaneer XV346 crashed into the Dornoch Firth on 13 February 1969 at approximately N57.90 W003.80. Both crew, Sub. Lt. J. Kershaw (pilot) and Lt. Cdr. P. H. Cummuskey (navigator), ejected safely.
