Field Visit (11 April 2009 - 11 April 2009)

The remains of five possible shieling huts (NOSAS site survey numbers 1082- 1085 & 1087) a fragmentary turf walled enclosure (1086) and a section of turf and stone dyke (1081) are located in lower Gleann Chorainn at the foot of the Allt Doire nan Laogh.

Further details of these and other associated sites can be found in the Strathconon Phase 4 Report (pages 47 & 48) produced by the North of Scotland Archaeology Society and appended to this record.
