Field Visit (11 October 2008 - 11 October 2008)

The stone footings of a small building (NOSAS site survey number 928) two other possible small buildings (933 & 934) and three large earthen enclosures (929 – 934) and a pit (932) are situated on well drained ground S of the Allt Mhic Fannain. Two enclosed areas of improved ground are depicted at this location on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xcvi) on either side of the Allt Creag Fhiodh-chruidh.
