Activities

Field Visit (2 April 2009 - 2 April 2009)

Two turf walled enclosures (NOSAS site survey numbers 1027 & 1064), stone bridge abutments (1066) and a large pit (1028) are located SW of the farmhouse at Glenmeinich. The enclosures are probably associated with sheep farming.

Further details of these and other associated sites can be found in the Strathconon Phase 4 Report (page22) produced by the North of Scotland Archaeology Society and appended to this record.
