Field Visit (5 August 2009 - 5 August 2009)

A threshing barn and possible site of horse engine (NOSAS site survey number 1169) located some 500m E of Dalbreac Lodge at Mains of Dalbreac. The ground plan of the current roofed buildings on the site generally conform to those depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet lxxxvi) and on an Estate plan of 1853.
