A sawmill and associated water management features utilising the Allt na Bhealach (NOSAS site survey Nos 167 - 169) located W and NW of Scatwell House, centred on NH 3910 5600 and depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet lxxxvii).
This summary record incorporates NOSAS site survey numbers 167 -169. Further details of these and other associated sites can be found in the Strathconon Phase 1 Report (pages 50, 51) produced by the North of Scotland Archaeology Society and appended to this record.
